Thermal fogging and ozone treatment are the two most effective methods of deodorising, both of these services are available from International Damage Management (IDM).
Thermal Fogging Fogging is one of the vital steps in deodorisation after a fire or flood, normally used at the end of a cleaning programme. By using the combination of a thermal fogger and a fragrant odourised chemical counteractant, when the nozzle of the fogger is heated up and the chemical pumped through the nozzle, a dry fog is created in the nature of smoke from a fire. The fragrant dry fog follows the contaminants and odours caused by smoke or water to wherever they migrated to. This includes inaccessible areas and voids without any need for demolition or structural intrusion.
There are several different fragrant chemicals which are designed to combat different types of odour problems. |
